Infrared Sauna for smelly armpits?

Do you think an infrared sauna could help re establish the good bacteria? In a sauna you sweat a lot, so it could maybe change the biome. Or do you think it would have minimal effect or even just encourage the maladorous bacteria to gain even more dominance?

Hi Jullian, interesting thought. I have no idea what the effect will be. A sauna is healthy for numerous reasons. The effect on the skin microbiome was not tested before. We've tested the effect of excessive sweating from intense sporting. That did not immidiately change the underarm microbiome. Taking a sauna and a bath can have a positive effect. It can open the sweat glands so the water can better access the inner microbiome. But that's just a theory. Inform us if it would have effect. Best, Chris
