Will putting an antiperspirant on help to smell better? Will the aluminum make the good bacteria grow?

Hi Becca, the perfume in the antiperspirant + the antimicrobial compounds in the antiperspirant will help to temporarily improve the body odor. But it has a huge impact on the armpit microbiome and it will not make the good bacteria grow. It will even help the 'bad' bacteria to grow. In case of body odor, I would recommend to use a regular deodorant instead. The effect on the underarm microbiome is less pronounced. Best, Chris
