Short Version:
I’ve been struggling with body odor for nearly 13 years. I tried everything antiperspirants, deodorants, Botox, even the MiraDry procedure but nothing worked. My underarms would start smelling immediately after a shower.

For the past 3 months, I’ve been following a simple routine: washing my underarms with only water (no soap, no products). Shockingly, it’s working! After a shower, I can go about 15 hours with normal activity and no odor. I still need to test it with heavy sweating, like at the gym, but so far, this feels life-changing.

I was very hopeless asked god to help me and he did.

Thank God I found this routine here, and God bless you.

Long Version:
I’m 31 now, but my nightmare started at 16. One day, I used my dad’s razor to shave my armpits. The next day, my underarms began smelling like rotten onions constantly, 24/7. I had no idea why this was happening.

I tried fighting it by using more soap, more deodorant, and eventually anything I could get my hands on even laundry powder, alcohol, strong antiperspirants but nothing helped. The odor would come back within minutes of showering. Over time, my brain seemed to block me from smelling it myself, but I could still tell from people’s reactions holding their breath, stepping away that the smell was there.

As a teenager in school, it was humiliating. I started skipping classes, avoiding people, and spending most of my time at home gaming. Doctors and dermatologists didn’t know what was wrong. After some time when nothing worked My family told me I was just paranoid and my under arms are normal they lied to me so I can get back to normal life, but I knew it was real.

In my early 20s, I tried Botox injections because I was told “no sweat means no odor.” It reduced sweating by 80%, but even a single drop of sweat triggered the smell. Later, I found that strong aluminum-based antiperspirants could help, but only if I stayed perfectly dry meaning no stress, no workouts, no running.

Then I discovered MiraDry, which uses microwaves to destroy sweat glands. It was extremely painful and… it didn’t work. My underarms still smelled.

Three months ago, while working remotely, I stumbled across this topic and your suggested routine. No soap, no deodorant, nothing. I decided to try it for 3 months. And now after years of frustration something has finally changed. My underarms can sweat lightly without smelling.

I still need to test it under heavy activity, but for now, I feel hope for the first time in over a decade. No doctor ever suggested this. you’ve saved my life. God bless you.
