Hi Paolo, good question. One of the four known pathways to B.O. is the biotransformation of hormones, such as androstenones. A lower lever of said hormones can theoretically lower the that specific odor pathway. To a small extent, hormones also regulate the sweat, sebum and apocrine secretion. If this lowers, the odor emission will also be lower. I am not aware of experiments of testing this effect. It would, for instance, be interesting to study the effect of hormone therapy on body odor emission. A future investigation in the making! Best, Chris
