Hello doctor, you have said that if you have no armpit odour you should stop using deodorant in case it changes your smell. Can I still use anti-perspirant without deodorant (if there is such a thing) or would that change things too?

Hi Lodot, antiperspirant is actually worse than deodorant for the underarm microbiome. It is literally biological murder. If you want to use something, use something without aluminium salts. Only use antiperspirant in case of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Best, Chris
